Les Canney

I grew up in a small country town some 30 miles west of Savannah, GA.  I started playing guitar around 1972 after falling in love with a Black Beauty Les Paul Custom owned by a friend of my family.  I have either played acoustic solo or in bands ever since.  I didn't start seriously writing songs until 2015 or so.  During the pandemic I put together a recording studio in my office and began recording my tunes.  The fruits of this and subsequent labor can be heard by clicking on the Music button above. At present I am playing in a band called Infinite Monkeys, doing covers (mostly 60s/70s rock) and originals.  Click on the Band link above to learn more.  I can also play solo acoustic gigs. I live in Cambridge, MA with too many guitars and my beautiful wife Amelia, whom I married in 2020.
